Wash by hand
A gentle car shampoo and a microfiber mitt.

Pressure washer at a distance
Keep it about a meter away, and never aim it at the film's edges.

No brush car washes
Brushes scratch the film and may lift its edges. Hand washing is better.
Quickly
Bird droppings and insects
Remove them as soon as you can, especially in the heat.

No compounds or solvents
No abrasive polishes, no colored wax, and no gasoline or thinner.

Light scratches disappear
With sun or warm water. A deep scratch won't disappear.
Shade extends the film's life. Covered parking reduces the effect of sun and heat. After every wash, take a look at the edges.
